The LCD display module, also known as the LCD display assembly, is mainly composed of a combination of components, thus it is called an LCD display module. What important components are included in this module?
LCD Panel: The LCD panel is an essential part of the LCD display module, consisting of two glass substrates with liquid crystal filled in between.
Backlight: The backlight includes many components such as the upper and lower iron frames, LED lights, brightness enhancement films, etc. With the backlight, the LCD display module can be illuminated. In addition to the panel and backlight, there are ICs, ribbon cables, upper and lower polarizers, and sometimes even a touch screen and PCB board combination, all of which are referred to as the LCD display module.
The LCD display module is a technology that realizes image display by controlling the propagation direction and intensity of light through liquid crystal materials. The LCD display module is composed of a liquid crystal layer, a driving circuit, and a backlight source. The liquid crystal layer is made up of liquid crystal molecules, whose arrangement can be altered by the application of an electric field, thus controlling the transmission and blocking of light. The driving circuit is responsible for applying the electric field to the liquid crystal layer, controlling the arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules. The backlight source provides backlighting, making it possible for the image to be displayed. Through the collaboration of these components, the LCD display module can achieve high-quality image display.
Use alcohol and other chemical solvents to clean the LCD module display screen. Modern LCD modules have a special coating on the screen; once alcohol is used to wipe the display screen, it will dissolve this special coating, adversely affecting the display effect. Use a normal soft cloth or tissue to wipe the LCD module display screen. Never use a normal soft cloth (such as an eyeglass cloth) or tissue to wipe the LCD screen, as they are still too rough for the delicate LCD module display screen and can easily scratch it.
Use clean water to clean the LCD module display screen. When using clean water, the liquid can easily drip into the internal display screen of the module, potentially causing a short circuit in the device and burning out expensive electronic equipment. When cleaning the LCD display screen, never randomly use any alkaline solution or chemical solvent to wipe the screen surface. Stains on the LCD panel mainly fall into two categories: accumulated dust from the air over time and fingerprints and oil stains inadvertently left by users. If not careful when cleaning, it can easily damage the liquid crystal.
